Aniimo Pre-Order Packs Land on PS5 and Xbox With Platform-Exclusive Accessories

Two optional console pre-order packs opened alongside the launch date: an Advanced Edition at $9.99 and a Collector's Edition at $19.99, with Fluffy Friend on PlayStation and Doggo Dude on Xbox. The game itself stays free.

Alongside the September 16 launch date, Pawprint Studio opened pre-orders on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The shape of the offer is unusual and worth stating plainly: Aniimo is free-to-play, so these are not the game. They are two optional paid bonus packs, and the base download stays free for everyone whether you buy one or not.

There are two tiers. The Aniimo Pre-Order Pack: Advanced Edition costs $9.99 and bundles a platform-exclusive accessory with the Advanced Companion Handbook, which is the game’s battle pass, plus a Handbook-exclusive Prismana form Aniimo egg and evolution material for branching evolutions. The Collector’s Edition costs $19.99 and swaps in the Collector’s Companion Handbook, adding an exclusive doll and an exclusive avatar frame on top of the same accessory and egg.

The accessory is where the platforms diverge. PlayStation pre-orders get Fluffy Friend, listed on the PlayStation Store as a PlayStation pre-order exclusive. Xbox pre-orders get Doggo Dude instead. Neither is announced as obtainable on the other platform, and no pre-order pack has been announced for PC or mobile at all, so Steam, Epic, iOS and Android players currently have no equivalent to buy. The PlayStation Store also sets a deadline: the pre-order window closes on September 16, 2026 at 09:59 (UTC+8), one minute before servers open.

What this means for players (editor’s note): the honest read is that neither pack is a competitive purchase. What you are buying is a battle pass you could otherwise buy after launch, one cosmetic accessory locked to your console, and one Prismana egg. The egg is the only line item with real gameplay weight, since Prismana forms are among the rarer variants, and even that is one creature in a roster of more than 200. If you were going to buy the Companion Handbook anyway, the Advanced Edition is roughly that purchase with an accessory attached, and the Collector’s Edition is cosmetics on top of it. Skip both and you lose nothing you cannot catch yourself in the open world.
