Eggs & Hatching
Eggs are one of Aniimo's main ways to grow your team. You find and earn them out in the world, then incubate them at the Hatchinator in your Homeland until they hatch. Every egg wears labels that hint at what's inside – its element and how special it is – and the rarest hatch of all is a shimmering Prismana form.

How hatching works
Getting an Aniimo out of an egg is a short cozy loop centred on your Home:

Get an egg
Eggs turn up as you explore, from events, and from other systems – each already carries the labels that decide what it becomes.

Incubate at the Hatchinator
Place it in the Hatchinator, your Homeland's incubator, and it hatches on a timer. It even hatches eggs from nearby Pathfinders within range.

Speed it up
Caress the egg to cut the wait (there's a daily limit, and friends can caress yours too), spend speed-up items, or ride the weekend bonus – hatch time is halved Friday to Sunday.

Meet your Aniimo
The egg hatches into its Aniimo – and some eggs have a chance to hatch two at once.

Eggs reach you from all over Idyll – some at random, many earned on purpose:
Out in the world
Wild eggs descend at night during Stella showers – the game's lore says departed Aniimo become Stars that nurture these starlit eggs.
Role-targeted Egg Boxes
Custom and Mystery Egg Boxes come tuned to a combat role – Break, DPS, Heal, Regen, Support – so you can aim for the Aniimo your team needs.
The Institute
Your Departure eggs are a starter gift from the Polaris Institute – guaranteed Perfect or Sparkling to get you going.
Egg Heist
Faded Aniimo Eggs are earned in Operation: Egg Heist and hatched back home.
Special & events
Prismana and Umbrabow eggs, the Egg Gifted from Flowers, and rotating event eggs deliver the rarest forms.
Breeding
A rare Dreamy Egg can appear as a mutation while breeding – the wider breeding system isn't documented in the current build yet.
Your Home also keeps an Egg Book that tracks the eggs you collect and hands out rewards as you fill it in.
What an egg can guarantee
Not every egg is a gamble. Many named eggs lock in a specific outcome – so if you want a strong Aniimo, you chase the right egg instead of hoping. The ratings you can guarantee:
On top of these, Prismana and Umbrabow eggs guarantee their rare form, and many are species-specific – an Alpha Bolty Egg hatches an Alpha Bolty, an Elite Fentuft Egg an Elite Fentuft.

Which Aniipod you use matters
The Aniipod (the cube) is your catching device – and the one you hatch with locks in the outcome's Potential. Each has its own edge:
AniipodRare A device for catching, equipping, and training aniimo. Polaris Institute researchers developed it using Lumintech after drawing inspiration from Ancient Idyll Civilization ruins. 
Aniipod ProEpic The first upgraded product in the Aniipod series, designed to help Pathfinders catch aniimo with greater ease. 
Aniipod MegaEpic The second upgraded product in the Aniipod series, designed to help Pathfinders catch aniimo even more easily. 
Aniipod UltraLegend Aniipod developed by the Polaris Institute with amazing performance in every way. It represents the spirit of a champion. ★ The hatched Aniimo’s Potential rating will be at least Elite. 
Aniipod HyperEpic An Aniipod crafted from new materials that increases Toss speed by reducing air resistance and extending the throwing range. 
Aniipod TraceEpic An aniimo catching device equipped with an eagle-eye lock system that automatically Tracks nearby aniimo after being Tossed. 
Sparkling CubePrismatic An upgraded version of the Aniipod Ultra, created by a genius. Some pathfinders believe that its design transcends mathematics and is instead metaphysical. ★ The hatched Aniimo is guaranteed to be a Sparkling Aniimo. Its Potential rating will be at least Elite. 
TumblerEpic A specialty product in the Aniipod series, inspired by Nimbi rolling down grassy slopes. Only Aniipod Ultra and the Sparkling Cube carry a hatch guarantee – so save those for eggs you care about.
Prismana eggs – the rarest hatch
The prize at the top of the ladder is a Prismana-form Aniimo: a rainbow-sheened variant tied to the rare Prismana Flow weather event – see where each one spawns, region by region. A Prismana egg guarantees one, and a Rainbow Glow label raises the chance. 22 species have a Prismana form to collect – tap any to open its Aniilog page:
Umbrabow eggs – the shadow form
Prismana isn't the only special form to hatch. A Mysterious Umbrabow Egg hatches an Umbrabow-form Aniimo – a darker, shadow-touched variant of the species. 12 have an Umbrabow form to collect:
