Aniimo Competitive Mode

Egg Heist

Egg Heist – branded in-game as Operation: Egg Heist – is one of Aniimo's headline competitive modes: a 3-player, real-time PvPvE format that launched in the January 29 (second closed beta) update. Your team drops into the Lost Isles to gather supplies, infiltrate a forbidden area, and race to seize the Giant Darkler Egg.

How Operation: Egg Heist plays

A single run is a race against two other players and the environment alike. Access opens once you reach the Veteran Pathfinder level, then every match runs the same arc:

  1. 1

    Drop into the Lost Isles

Three Pathfinders enter the arena in real time – you're competing against each other and the map's PvE threats.

  2. 2

    Gather & infiltrate

Collect supplies across the isles, then breach the forbidden area where the prize is held.

  3. 3

    Seize the Giant Darkler Egg

Compete to claim the Giant Darkler Egg – the object the whole mode is built around.

  4. 4

    Evacuate by boat

Reach the boat and get out safely to bank what you carry. How that payout is shared is the mode's core twist – see the rules below.

The prize – the Giant Darkler Egg

Seizing the Giant Darkler Egg carries a chance to obtain a brand-new Aniimo in its Darkler form – the standout reward that gives the whole mode its pull. That single payoff is why teams take the risk of pushing deep before evacuating.

Climb the ranks

Every run scores toward a seasonal rank. Seven tiers stand between a fresh Egg Hunter and the apex – higher ranks drop richer reward boxes.

  1. Rookie Egg Hunter 3 divisions
  2. Rising Egg Scout 3 divisions
  3. Pro Egg Snatcher 4 divisions
  4. Elite Egg Seeker 4 divisions
  5. Expert Egg Raider 5 divisions
  6. Egg Heist Master 5 divisions
  7. Egg Emperor Apex rank

Economy & the Egg Heist Shop

Egg Heist runs its own reward loop. Eggshell Coins fuel the Egg Heist Shop, and you spend vouchers on a weekly cadence – each voucher type up to ten times per week. The shop itself stocks Gear, Imprints, Eggs, Keys and more.

Outpost Vendor Joff stocks

Joff, the mode's vendor, sells the higher Aniipod tiers plus Tumblers:

Rules that matter at the table

Runes are switched off

Rune effects on carried items are disabled inside Operation: Egg Heist – they still work in Team Mode, but here everyone competes on the same footing.

Evacuation decides who keeps what

Submitted Aniimo Eggs are shared across the whole team only on a safe evacuation; a failed evac means you keep only your own. You can evac after one personal objective – submit a single egg, or collect Eggshell Coins.

Scaled up: Diamond Egg Heist

For the Global CBT, FunPlus is scaling the concept up into Diamond Egg Heist and making it the headline showpiece: up to six teams of three Pathfinders drop into one arena and race for a single prize – the diamond egg.

The win condition is the twist. The moment a player twines with the egg, the round flips from a free-for-all scramble into a defended escort: their two teammates protect the carrier and shepherd the egg to safety while the other five teams try to take it. It keeps Egg Heist's steal-and-escort core and pushes it into full team-versus-team competition.
