Aniimo System

Aniimo Consignment

Aniimo Consignment is the game's own name for selling an Aniimo to another Pathfinder, and the Pathfinder Auction House is where that sale happens, priced in Credits. It is a real system with real rules rather than an informal arrangement between players: the game refuses a listing whose Aniimo has been trained ("Only untrained Aniimo can be consigned"), it charges both a listing fee and a consignment fee up front, it gives every listing a fixed duration in days, and it removes anything unsold when that period ends. A listing belongs to the seller alone, and the market is open rather than directed: an Aniimo is put up for sale, not handed to a chosen buyer, so there is no in-game way to reserve one for a specific person. The launch version ships the whole thing switched off, with its own message for it: "Aniimo trading is currently frozen. Consignment is temporarily unavailable." That is a live-service toggle rather than a missing feature, so the system below is what exists in the game, not a promise about what is open today. The market matters enough in Idyll that the world writes about it: an in-game line calls out the "nasty Aniimo dealers" who "sneak into Idyll to catch Aniimo and sell them for profit", which is the game arguing with its own economy.
