Aniipods are Aniimo's skill-based capture tool, bought from Outpost Vendor Joff in five tiers: Aniipod, Aniipod Pro, Aniipod Hyper, Aniipod Trace and Aniipod Mega, each multiplying the base catch chance further, up to the group-catch Tumbler for clearing a cluster at once. Two items skip the multiplier entirely and guarantee a successful catch: the top-tier Aniipod Ultra and the Sparkling Cube. The game publishes its full catch formula rather than leaving it a black box: a Base Chance set per zone and per catch-difficulty tier (56/42/28 percent in Standard Areas, down to 32/24/16 percent by the Late Stage), multiplied by the Aniipod tool, the target's level relative to yours, its remaining HP or whether the throw lands from behind, and whatever Special Status it's in. Landing a Break beforehand is worth a flat ×1.5 on its own, and up to ×3 with the Break catch-bonus perk running. The whole roll is then decided by two independent checks, each at the square root of the Final Chance, both of which must succeed for the catch to land.
