Welcome to Idyll: Inside the Global Closed Beta's Opening Day Events

The official opening notice set the per-region server times and launched two day-one events: the Set Out, Pathfinder! check-in ladder and Prismana Promise, a free Prismana form Aniimo of your own choosing.

The official welcome notice for the Global Closed Beta did more than open the doors. It pinned the staggered per-region start times and detailed the two events waiting on the other side of the loading screen.

Servers opened on three shards: Aniimo-America on July 8 at 22:00 (UTC-4), Aniimo-Europe on July 9 at 02:00 (UTC+0) and Aniimo-Apac on July 9 at 10:00 (UTC+8). The notice restated the terms, a limited-access, free-to-play, data-wipe test on PC including Steam, Android and iOS, and was upfront that mobile players could hit lag and device heating on a build still being optimised.

The first day-one event, “Set Out, Pathfinder!”, was a daily check-in ladder. Rewards scaled with total check-ins rather than consecutive days, the counter refreshed at 04:00 (UTC+8), and seven days of check-ins claimed the full set. That design forgives a missed day, which is the friendlier of the two common patterns and worth remembering if the same structure returns at launch.

The second is the one testers actually talked about. “Prismana Promise” handed every Pathfinder a free Prismana form Aniimo of their own choosing, framed in lore as eggs the Polaris Institute preserved during the Prismana Flow caused by the Bloom Festival ten years earlier. Prismana forms are a weather-driven variant axis, so getting one handed over on day one, chosen rather than rolled, was a real shortcut into a system that normally rewards patient hunting. That same scarcity is why the Bond Pact later excluded Prismana Aniimo from being sealed for launch.

The notice also documented two support paths worth knowing in any build: stuck in terrain, press ESC and choose Unstuck to teleport to the nearest valid spot, and ESC then Support to file an issue directly with the team.

What this means for players (editor’s note): read this as a preview of launch-week structure rather than as history. A cumulative check-in ladder plus a free choose-your-own rare creature is a proven opening-week pattern, and Aniimo has now run it. If it returns on September 16, log in on day one, take the check-in reward, and think hard about the free pick, because a chosen rare form beats a rolled one every time. Our creature database and collection tracker are the fastest way to decide before a timer runs out. Note what the beta also proved about pacing: the studio shipped daily updates through the test, so expect launch week to move fast.
