Aniimo Launch Day Checklist: Everything to Do Before September 16
Aniimo launches on 16 September 2026. Here is the complete pre-launch checklist in one place: install, account linking, your server time, what pre-registration already owes you, and what to do if something breaks, every step pinned to an official source.
This page exists because the run-up to launch is scattered across half a dozen official notices, and nobody wants to re-read all of them two days before servers open. Everything below is a to-do list, in order, each item linking to the guide that covers it in full. Nothing here is guessed: every step traces to an official Aniimo notice.
The short version
If you do nothing else before 16 September 2026, 10:00 (UTC+8), do these three:
- Install now. Pre-download has been open since 14 September on PC, PS5 and Xbox. Don’t wait for launch morning.
- Link your account on your very first login, especially on console. The prompt appears once.
- Know your exact server time, not the date everyone quotes. The Americas get it the evening before.
Everything else on this page is detail for when you want it.
1. Install the game
Pre-download opened on 14 September 2026 at 10:00 (UTC+8) on PC, PS5 and Xbox. Mobile has no pre-download; it launches on 23 September.
- PC: download the launcher from aniimo.com, keep 40 GB free (SSD recommended), install, then start the game through the launcher from then on.
- PS5 / Xbox: pre-download unlocks after buying a pre-order pack; needs 30 to 35 GB. PS5 installs to the internal SSD only.
- Played a beta? Uninstall that client. It can no longer be used; you need the new launcher.

2. Confirm your PC can run it
The requirements were revised on 14 September: PC minimum is now a GTX 970 with 8 GB RAM, well below the older GTX 1060 / 12 GB figure. If your machine sat just under the old bar, it may well clear the new one.
- On an Intel 13th or 14th-gen desktop CPU? The studio published a dedicated crash fix the same day: update your BIOS to microcode 0x12B or later, or lower the performance-core multiplier in Intel XTU.
Full table (PC, iOS, Android, console, controllers): system requirements.
3. Link your account before your first console login
This is the step people regret skipping. Progress is shared across PC, console and mobile within one server, but only once your platform account is linked to your Aniimo Pass. On console, the link prompt for an existing Aniimo Pass appears only on the very first login of that PSN or Microsoft account. Skip it, and that account creates a brand-new Aniimo Pass that can never be linked to your old one.
If you tested in a beta on Steam and plan to switch email, or you own PS5 and Xbox pre-order packs and want both under one account, this step decides whether that works.

4. Know your exact server time
Launch is one global instant, split across three servers that open together:
| Server | Opens |
|---|---|
| Aniimo-America | 15 September 2026, 22:00 (UTC-4) |
| Aniimo-Europe | 16 September 2026, 02:00 (UTC+0), 03:00 UK / 04:00 Central Europe |
| Aniimo-Apac | 16 September 2026, 10:00 (UTC+8) |
If you’re in the Americas, that’s the evening before the date everyone quotes. If you’re in Europe, it’s the middle of the night. Full timezone table and what a queue looks like versus an actual outage: server status.
5. Collect what you’re already owed
Two things are waiting on your account before you even log in, and neither costs anything:
- Pre-registration rewards. The counter passed 30 million, which unlocked all four milestones plus your own choice of a Prismana-form Aniimo. See pre-registration rewards for the full list and how each one is claimed.
- Bond Pact egg (beta testers only). If you sealed an Aniimo before the Global Closed Beta ended, it’s waiting for you: same account and channel, and you need that Aniimo’s matching form unlocked in the Aniilog to hatch it. Full rules in our beta-ending report.
6. Decide on a pre-order pack, or skip it
Console-only, optional, and the game stays free either way. The Advanced Edition ($9.99) and Collector’s Edition ($19.99) both bundle a platform-exclusive accessory, a Companion Handbook (battle pass) and a Prismana-form egg. The window closes at 16 September, 09:59 (UTC+8), one minute before servers open, so this is a now-or-never decision, not a launch-week one.

7. Know what to do if it breaks
- A queue is not an outage. More than 30 million people pre-registered; expect a line at 10:00 UTC+8.
- Client won’t launch or verify? In the launcher: Settings → Quick Repair.
- Crashing on an Intel 13th/14th-gen CPU? See step 2 above.
- Genuinely down? Check the official news centre first; we mirror confirmed outages on server status.
FAQ
- What’s the single most important thing on this list? Linking your account on the first console login. It’s the only step you cannot undo afterward.
- Do I need to do all of this before the 16th? Steps 1 and 2 (install, check your specs) are worth doing now. Steps 3 through 6 matter most at your actual first login.
- I only play on one platform and one account. Can I skip step 3? Mostly, yes: the link prompt still appears, but there’s nothing to lose if you have no prior account to preserve.
- Is there anything time-sensitive after launch? Not on this list. Pre-order packs are the only hard deadline (before servers open); everything else works the same on day one or day thirty.
