Inferlupa Evolution: The Flameruff Quest (Community Walkthrough)
Inferlupa is an alternate Nova evolution of the Flameruff line, gated behind a multi-day narrative quest. The creature facts are official; the quest steps are community-reported from the Closed Beta, and clearly labelled as such.
✓ Beta-verified
Community walkthrough. The Inferlupa creature (its element, role, stage and that it evolves from Flameruff) is official. The quest steps below are reported by Closed-Beta players (creator footage + community wikis), not published by Pawprint. We’ve corrected the garbled names that were circulating and cut the invented items outright. Treat the sequence as a guide, not gospel. It may change at launch.
Community = reported from beta play, not officially confirmed.
What’s official about Inferlupa
Straight from the official index:
- NO.004 Inferlupa : elements Fire + Dark, role BREAK, Nova stage.
- It’s an alternate evolution of the Flameruff line (the line that starts with Emberpup).
- Its home region is Beast Fang Ridge.
- Its full statline (HP / BREAK / ATK / P.DEF / M.DEF / REGEN) lives on the Inferlupa page, kept in sync with the current beta build Official · beta build.
- One of its skills is literally named Unbroken Flameruff Spirit.
Everything in that list you can verify on Pawprint’s own page. Everything below is reported from beta play, and labelled.
The quest, as beta players mapped it
A multi-day narrative quest in Beast Fang Ridge, gated by real-time waiting. The shape the community agrees on Community:
- The NPC is Icho : a Scorchhowl at Base Camp who sets the quest in motion (you’ll see this NPC mis-named “Eco” or “Hiko” elsewhere; the reported name is Icho).
- Bring a non-Fire attacker. Players favour a Dark Aniimo such as Stellarys for the fire-heavy fights (compare Break attackers on the tier list). For the actual matchup numbers, see the site’s own type chart and combat guide.
- Beat the Alpha : an open-world boss, Alpha Scorchhowl (you’ll see it garbled as “Alpha Scorchound” or “Scorchild Alpha” elsewhere; the real in-game name is Alpha Scorchhowl).
- Gather the evolution materials. In the current beta build, the Flameruff → Inferlupa evolution costs 3× Night Stone (a Dark-element evolution material) plus 6× Unbroken Flameruff Spirit, farmed from the quest’s special Flameruffs. (Capture a few spares while you’re there; more on group catching in the capture guide.)
- Night-only beats + a unique Glynsera (“Old Recas”) feature in the mid-quest steps.
- The time-gate is ~3 real days / 2 server resets, not a rolling “24-hour” countdown, so start it, then come back across a couple of daily resets.
When we can confirm a precise step-by-step from beta footage, we’ll publish it with timestamps. Until then, this is the outline.
What we cut: and why
These were in earlier drafts and are not real (several even contradict Aniimo’s own systems, so we removed them):
- “+4 Crit Rate” / a “Crit Rate” stat : Aniimo has no Crit stat; the six are HP / BREAK / ATK / P.DEF / M.DEF / REGEN.
- “Epic” rarity : there’s no rarity grade on Aniimo; the index sorts by element, role and stage only.
- “Spirit Links” : an invented item with no trace in any source. (Note: the singular Night Stone is real : it’s the Dark-element evolution material this line actually consumes, so we’ve folded it back into the quest steps above.)
