Idyll has 120 eggs lying out in the open, spread over its 14 regions and Whisperwake Isles, and 20 more tucked inside treasure chests. Most rest in a nest you can simply walk up to. The rest are the reason this guide exists: some only arrive with a falling star, some are sealed inside a pine, a crate or a block of ice, and a few sit underground. Every kind of egg, and what it hatches
The wild holds 11 kinds of egg. The name on the egg is not always the item you get: the 9 Elite Eggs and the one Gift of the Branch both hand you an Incredible Egg, so 62 of the 120 end up as Incredible Eggs in your bag. Incredible and Alpha Eggs carry their region’s name in their description, and each region’s Alpha Egg is guaranteed to hatch a local Aniimo.

Why an egg is not where the map says
Six reasons, the sneakiest first. Every region card further down flags the eggs each one applies to.
It has not landed yet5 Incredible Eggs are a falling star's cargo: the game only puts them down once the star has landed. Echoback Landing (2), Beast Fang Ridge (2), Blitzwood (1).
It comes out of a scene3 eggs are the reward of an Aniimo scene staged on the spot, and appear once it has played out: Berylline Vale (2), Blitzwood (1).
It is sealed in something10 eggs sit inside an object: Exploding Pine Trees, a Flammable Vine, a block of ice, a Rail Iron Crate, a snowball, a Baleetle mud ball. "Fire can ignite grass and wood", as the game's Elemancy help puts it.
It is underground4 eggs are in caves, right under the ground the map shows. On the map they sit under the Underground chip, and some of Idyll's caves stay sealed until the Breezy Plains Branch reaches Earthwake Prayer.
It is in a chest20 more eggs are not lying out at all: they are a treasure chest's contents. The map shows them on the chest, as "Contains".
You already took itAn egg leaves its spot the moment you pick it up. If you have been through a region before, some of its spots are simply yours already.
Region by region
Regions go by level, with Whisperwake Isles last (it has its own map). Each card pins every egg of the region, numbered in the order of its Walk link, which draws the same route on the interactive map; it also lists the kinds of egg, each linked to the map framed on that region, and the nearest teleporters.

The exact in-game coordinates
Open any egg on the map and its card shows the spot’s coordinates exactly as the game’s own map prints them (X, Z), with a button to copy them. Hover anywhere on the map and the readout under your pointer does the same.
Hatching what you find
The Eggs & Hatching page covers the rest: how hatching works, what each label guarantees, and the book that rewards you as you collect. Two eggs name a creature: Beast Fang Ridge’s Incredible Emberpup Egg is “guaranteed to hatch into an Emberpup with Elite potential or higher”, while Berylline Vale’s Baleetle Egg gives you an Incredible Baleetle Egg, “guaranteed to hatch an Aniimo with Elite potential or higher”, without saying which one.
